 The Wife Upstairs by Rachel HawkinsMy rating: 4 of 5 stars When I heard this was a modern retelling of Jane Eyre, I knew I had to read it, since that's my absolute favorite classic. A huge fan of the rags to riches trope, this book delivered with some wicked twists. The story, while a variation of a popular classic, it was still original in its concepts and delivery.
